*Games this Weekend*
The Alaska Nanooks travel to Huntsville, Alabama to take on the UAH Chargers this weekend. Alabama is in the Central Time Zone, so the games will start at 4:07pm Alaska Time on both Friday and Saturday.
*TV Broadcasts*
Friday’s game will be televised on Fox-7 Live beginning at 4:00pm. That game will be rebroadcast again at 11:00pm that evening. Saturday’s game will be broadcast (Tape Delayed) after NCAA Football, which is estimated to be approximately 7:00pm.
*Radio/Internet*
As usual, the radio broadcast with Bruce Cech will be on 820AM (or on the internet at 820sports.com) beginning at 3:45pm both days. Or you can watch on WCHA.tv for a fee.

*GAMES AT THE CARLSON*
The Alaska Nanooks return to the Carlson Center this weekend to take on the league leading Beavers of Bemidji State University. As usual, the games start at 7:07pm, and they will be broadcast on the radio for those not able to attend. Or, for a fee you can catch the video stream at WCHA.tv
*ALL MILITARY GET FREE ADMISSION*
This weekend is “Hometown Heroes” weekend, so all active and retired military and their dependents get free general admission to both games this weekend by showing their Military ID.
*ARMY vs. AIR FORCE HOCKEY ON SATURDAY*
In addition, the Army vs. Air Force hockey game will be held at the Carlson Center from 1:30 to 3:30pm on Saturday. Admission is free.
*LUNCHEON FRIDAY*
The Coaches Luncheon on Friday will be held at the Carlson Center beginning at Noon. The cost is $15 and the menu this week is a traditional Turkey Dinner (turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc.). Both coaches are expected to speak.
*BRANDT FUNDRAISER*
In addition, the Face-Off Club will be collecting donations for the family of Sgt. Allen Brandt, the Fairbanks police officer who died last Friday from complications following surgery required after he was shot in the line of duty the week before. There will be a bucket at the Face-Off Club table for donations (cash and checks only, please) and all proceeds will go directly to the Brandt Family.

Puck drops 7:07pm at the Patty Ice Arena on campus.
Fund Raiser for Face-Off Club which supports Alaska Nanook Hockey
The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids or $25 for the family.
What’s Happening
As usual, the game will be played in two 25 minute running clock periods, with a skills competition (fastest skater, hardest shot, etc.) during the intermission. Following the game, there will be a 30 minute Skate with the Nanooks and cookie social.
Face-Off Club Members/Supporters
Encouraged to bring cookies/brownies/goodies in a disposable container for after the game.
